The day of death itself is not recorded clearly in the Bible . Some suspect fell on Wednesday, but more are putting on Friday. Based on the scriptural details regarding the Sanhedrin Court on Jesus , and scientific analysis, the crucifixion of Jesus is very likely to occur on Friday, but the date of occurrence is not known with certainty, and lately is expected to occur in the year 33 AD , by two groups of scientists, and previously expected to happen in the year 34 AD by Isaac Newton via the calculation of the difference-the difference between the Jewish calendar and the Julian calendar and the magnitude of the crescent.
Calculation Date Friday
Good Friday is the Friday before Easter , the date calculation is different between the Eastern Church and the Church of the West (see computus for a more detailed explanation). Easter falls on the first Sunday after the Paschal Full Moon , the full moon on or after March 21 , which is used as the date of the vernal equinox . West calculations use the Gregorian calendar , while the Eastern calculation uses the Julian calendar , in which his March 21 now coincide with the date of 3 April according to the Gregorian calendar. As in the Western Church Easter can fall on any date starting on March 22 until 25 April according to the Gregorian calendar, then Friday can fall between the dates of March 19 to 22 April . In the Eastern Church, Easter can fall between 22 March and 25 April according to the Julian calendar (between 4 April and May 8 according to the Gregorian calendar, for the period 1900 and 2099), so Friday can fall between March 19 and 22 of April (or between 1 April and May 5 according to the Gregorian calendar).
