History of GITJ



Evangelical Church in Java (abbreviated GITJ) is a group of Protestant Christian churches in Indonesia based in Pati, Central Java. Sufficiently broad service area that covers most of Java and Sumatra transmigration area.
GITJ established May 30, 1940 of the results of evangelism is done by Pieter Jantz of DZV-Holland, who is assisted by a native evangelist named Tunggul Wulung. Originally GITJ just be around the area of Mount Moriah, but later expanded to Semarang, Salatiga, Yogyakarta, and Sumatra.
