Jingle Bells



"Jingle Bells" is one of the most known songs and most often sung during the winter holidays in the world. The song was written by James Lord Pierpont (1822-1893) and published under the title "One Horse Open Sleigh" in the fall of 1857. This song has now become public domain.The theory of "Jingle Bells" was created in 1857 in Medford, Massachusetts in doubt because of the time it's Pierpont song writer worked as organist and music director of the Unitarian Church in Savannah, Georgia, the church where his brother, Pastor. John Pierpont Jr. became pastor. In August 1857, James Pierpont married the daughter of the mayor of Savannah.
